Central City's Stairway to Heaven Project

The Cody and Shelby Allen Memorial

Central City reached out to me in August of 2021 about creating a memorial for Cody and Shelby commemorating their service to the Central City Fire Department. I met with members of the department that knew the couple best and together we created the vision for this project. I was able to work closely with a CNC machine shop to initially cut their jackets and helmets that I then finished carving details by hand. Then in spring of 2025 Central city allowed me to refresh the memorial and to put a roof over the entire sign to protect its integrity.

It was an incredible honor to be a part of such a meaningful project.
